Christina Kandukuri
My name is Christina Kandukuri. I grew up in southern Middle Tennessee and attended Middle Tennessee State University for my undergraduate and graduate degree. I have a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a license to teach Kindergarten-Sixth Grade and a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I am about to begin my tenth year as an educator, and I could not imagine having another profession.

My family and I reside in Spring Hill. My husband, Aditya, and I have been married for almost three years, and our son, Ari, will be one in September. We have a precious schnoodle, Collins, and a grouchy but loving orange cat named Lillian.
While I am not at school or working on professional learning, I love cooking and baking delicious treats, vegetable gardening, spending time with my family, and reading. I adore my Joseph Brown family and feel honored to be part of the faculty.

Maria Cofer

My name is Maria Cofer and I am so excited to get the opportunity to fulfill my dream here at Joseph Brown Elementary. Growing up, all I wanted to be was a teacher. I grew up here in Columbia, and attended Harding University in Arkansas. There, I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and graduated in December 2019. I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family, and finding joy in everything I encounter. I am so thrilled at the opportunity to teach (and learn from) sweet Kindergarteners. I can't wait for my students step into our wonderful classroom full of laughter, joy, and love.
